WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE

The year begins and with it a new agricultural campaign, being also the starting signal for different agricultural fairs throughout Spain, in which the main companies and distributors present their best products and programs for the various problems that may arise throughout the campaign.

Blue Heron has been present at the first edition of the Agrovid fair, organized by the fair of Valladolid from January 30 to February 1. This fair, started with the aim of being one of the reference fairs in everything that surrounds the cultivation of vineyards. In its first edition it has had more than 100 exhibitors ranging from inputs to mechanized tools, all oriented to the cultivation of grapes and has ended with almost 6000 visitors, starting its way to be a fair of relevance in the coming years.

Blue Heron took advantage of this first fair, oriented to the cultivation of vineyards, to make our strategies based on environmentally sustainable and residue-free products and programs for the control of vascular and wood diseases (VDM), which are seriously affecting vineyards throughout Spain, as well as other programs focused on vineyard quality and crop improvement, available to vineyard growers and winery managers. To this end, the company made a strong commitment in this first edition by placing a stand, together with its distributor in the Nutriplant area, in one of the busiest areas of this fair in Valladolid, where the technical-commercial team attended to the numerous doubts and queries that have been generated during the duration of this fair.

Likewise, the technical director of Blue Heron, Ignacio Cadahía, was one of the main speakers in the sessions of scientific dissemination and presentation of new products, which has been carried out during the days of this fair. In this dissemination session the results obtained in the trials carried out over the last 4 years in vineyard cultivation in Rodilana (Valladolid) and Olivenza (Badajoz) with our program for the control of vascular and wood diseases (VDM), through the use of natural and residue-free products, were presented. This program has proven to be highly efficient in maintaining and improving the conditions of the plants treated with this program, even returning the affected plants to pre-infection production levels.
